Use Intellist with Claude and Meta Muse

The Intellist connector lets an AI assistant read and update your Intellist lists while you chat. You can ask what's on your grocery list, add the things you just remembered, check items off, or find which bin the spare charger is in. Changes sync to the Intellist app on your iPhone.

What you need

• An Intellist account, created in the iPhone app. The connector only sees lists that are synced to your account.
• Intellist Free or Intellist Pro. Intellist Free includes 3 lists, whether you create them in the app or through an assistant.

Connect to Claude

1. In Claude (web or desktop), open Customize → Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector, name it Intellist, and enter the URL https://intellist.app/api/mcp.
3. Select Connect. Sign in on intellist.app with the same account you use in the app (Apple, Google, or email), then choose Allow.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an organization Owner first adds Intellist under Organization settings → Connectors with the URL above. Each member then connects it and signs in with their own Intellist account.

In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http intellist https://intellist.app/api/mcp, then run /mcp to sign in.

Connect to Meta Muse

Intellist for Muse is in Meta's developer preview. This page will say how to connect once Meta lists it.

Things to ask

• “What's on my grocery list?”
• “Add milk, eggs, and coffee filters to my grocery list.”
• “I bought the eggs. Check them off.”
• “Where did I put the spare phone charger?”
• “I used two AA batteries. Update the count in my garage inventory.”
• “Make a packing checklist for a weekend camping trip.”

What the assistant can do

• See your lists and the items on them, including lists shared with you in groups, and search items across lists.
• Create lists, add items, edit an item's name, description, or quantity, and check items on and off.
• It can't delete lists or items. The one exception is a list you've set to “Delete items when checked”: checking an item there moves it to Trash, as it does in the app, and you can restore it from Trash.
• When two lists or items share a name, the assistant asks which one you mean rather than guessing.

Good to know

• Automations don't run on changes made through an assistant. If you have an automation that adds an item to your shopping list when a count runs low, change that count in the app for the automation to fire.
• Changes reach your phone at its next sync, not instantly.
• Photos, item values, actions, automations, groups, and NFC tags aren't available through the connector yet.
• Lists on a phone that isn't signed in stay on that phone and aren't visible to the assistant.

Disconnect

Remove Intellist from the assistant's connector settings at any time. See the privacy policy for what the connector shares and keeps.
